The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Nutrition Services department has been recognized by Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Middler with a Best of the Bunch Award for its commitment to the Texas Department of Agriculture’s (TDA) 2018 Farm Fresh Challenge.
The Farm Fresh Challenge encourages school nutrition teams to incorporate more Texas products into meals and teach children about healthy lifestyles and Texas agriculture.
The GCISD nutrition team will be officially recognized at the annual Business of Numbers and Nutrition Conference in Austin in June.
