
Fifteen students from Colleyville Heritage High School competed at the Texas State Science and Engineering Fair at Texas A&M in March. The fair included 22 categories between the life and physical sciences with over 1,200 projects presented. The students competed in regional competitions before advancing to state.
Two students, Elizabeth Hyun and Joanna Wang, will also now compete at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix in May. Hyun qualified by winning a Best of Show award at the Fort Worth Regional Fair for her environmental engineering project. Wang qualified by winning first place at the State Fair with her cellular and molecular biology project.
Additionally, Manasa Sripati earned third place at the State Fair with her microbiology project.
