Community Input Sessions RSVP
In April, we convened a committee of more than 100 students, parents, staff and community members to review the work accomplished in the District’s Strategic Plan, LEAD 2021 and initiated the process to advance the strategic plan into the next phase known as LEAD 2.0.
We will have hosted parent meetings on every campus and are also hosting evening sessions for the community. We value your time and know that there is no good time to get everyone together for a feedback session; however, as part of our GCISD community, your voice is incredibly important in this process.
For these reasons, we have created a brief ThoughtExchange in which we are asking two questions for you to consider. Participation is completely voluntary, but we would encourage you to lend your voice to this process as the elements included in LEAD 2.0 will impact all of us in our work.
The exchange will be open from September 5 to September 16. Prior to completing the exchange, please watch the "Defining Moments" video.
If you would like to give your input in a face-to-face setting, community input sessions are being held on September 5 and September 11, both from 6 to 8 p.m. These sessions will be held at the Professional Development Education Center (PDEC) located at 5800 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
