The Colleyville Heritage baseball team will make its first appearance in the UIL State Tournament this week as the Panthers travel to Dell Diamond in Round Rock. CHHS takes on Corsicana in the 5A Semifinals on Thursday at 4 p.m. The winner will face either Georgetown or Mission Sharyland Pioneer in the 5A Championship on Saturday at 12 p.m.

The Panthers (37-3) are ranked No. 6 in the nation by USA Today and are coming off of a sweep of Monterey in the 5A Region I finals. CHHS beat the Plainsmen by identical scores of 6-3 in both games on Friday and Saturday.
