Colleyville Heritage Panther Chorale receives state honor

The Colleyville Heritage Panther Chorale has been selected as an Invited Performing Choir for the 2018 Texas Music Educator’s Association Convention, the highest award afforded to high school choirs in Texas. This prestigious invitation is achieved through a recorded audition process of performances from the past two school years and is awarded to ensembles showing a consistent exceptional level of performance. The Panther Chorale was selected from over 170 submitted choirs.

The Panther Chorale is the premier ensemble of the CHHS Panther Choirs consisting of approximately 60 auditioned sophomores, juniors and seniors. Under the direction of Thomas Rinn and assistant director Rachel Massey the Panther Chorale has established itself as one of the premier high school ensembles in the state receiving consistent UIL Sweepstakes awards, placing multiple students into the Texas All-State Choir, and performing both locally and abroad.
