During this unprecedented time, GCISD is committed to providing remote, age-appropriate opportunities using the district’s learning resources. During the week of March 16-20, the focus will be on two things: Connectivity and [email protected]
In order to ensure that all students have access to an electronic device (Chromebook, laptop, iPad), each campus will coordinate a pick-up window for a parent to come to school and retrieve a student’s device (and, if applicable, charger). If you do not have access to the internet at home, please contact the District by emailing [email protected]. Campus nurses will also be available during these pick-up windows to dispense any students’ medications that might be housed in the clinic. Students receiving special education services who routinely use assistive technology will be contacted to arrange to pick-up their device.
Additionally, we ask that all students visit the [email protected] site to find initial resources that have been collected for the benefit of students and families. In addition to encouraging all families to engage in these extensions and opportunities, we ask that you watch for communication from your child’s principal that will help students to feel connected to and encouraged by school staff.

Durante este tiempo sin precedentes, GCISD se compromete en proporcionar oportunidades remotas y apropiadas para cada edad utilizando los recursos de aprendizaje del distrito. Durante la semana del 16 al 20 de marzo, el enfoque será en dos cosas: Conectividad y Aprendizaje @ Casa (Learning @ Home).
