Votes Tallied for 2020 Trustee Runoff Election

A runoff election between Coley Canter and Tommy Snyder was required for the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District’s Board of Trustees, Place 5 after neither candidate reached the required majority vote.

Coley Canter has been elected to Place 5 on the GCISD Board of Trustees by a majority vote in the December Runoff Election with 100 percent of precincts reporting, according to unofficial results posted by Tarrant County Elections Administration on Tuesday night.

In the runoff election for Place 5, Coley Canter received 4,399 votes (63.02%) while her opponent, Tommy Snyder, received 2,581 votes (36.98%).

Final results will be canvassed during the regular December 14 Board of Trustees meeting. At that time the newly elected trustee will be issued the oath of office and begin their term on GCISD's Board of Trustees.
