The Grapevine High School and Colleyville Heritage High School cheerleading teams both recently competed in the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) High School Nationals at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
GHS earned a National Championship in the Intermediate Small Varsity Performance category, the Mustangs’ first national title since 2012. Additionally, the GHS Large Varsity Gameday Performance earned a sixth place finish and GHS received the Best Tumbling Champions title.
The CHHS Medium Varsity Gameday Performance earned a third place finish, received an award for Best Sideline Chant, and the Panthers were featured in a mic’d up video for Varsity TV.
These performances at the national level came just weeks after each team had success at the UIL Spirit State Championships.
