The Grapevine High School cheerleading team has added another trophy to its collection, this time the NCA Spirit Program National Championship.
Just one week after winning the program's first UIL State Championship in Fort Worth, the Mustangs made the trip to Dallas for the NCA High School Nationals. Produced by the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA), the NCA High School Nationals are one of the nation's most prestigious cheerleading competitions.
Held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, all teams invited to perform at the NCA High School Nationals received eligibility at a Varsity Spirit Camp in 2021. Teams were credentialed in cheer safety and leadership training, endorsed by the National Federation of High School Sports (NFHS), as well as in the areas of crowd leading, spirit raising, ambassadorship, athleticism, and entertainment.
