Berger Named EdTech Top 100 Influencer
Posted on 02/21/2022

Kyle Berger, GCISD’s Chief Technology Officer, has been named a Top 100 Influencer in EdTech by EdTech Digest, one of the nation’s top resources for technology in education. This honor comes just weeks after Berger and his team received a top award at the Tech & Learning Leadership Summit.

EdTech Digest’s Top 100 Influencers list consists of students, parents, teachers, instructors, administrators, data scientists, corporate titans, startup leaders, inventors, researchers, artists, engineers, curators, coaches, instructional technologists—and all manner of people taking responsibility for their chosen spheres of influence in the edtech sector and beyond.

“Despite two years of turmoil spilling over into every sector of society, the people on this list are representative of so many across education and technology who dug in, held on, stood their ground, persisted—and pushed through,” said EdTech Digest of the Top 100 Influencers. “For others around them, they were the light in the darkness, or the calm in a storm; the stable reference point in an uncertain landscape, or the exemplary leader that kept the path ahead open and navigable. It's not that they were fearless, but they didn't let their qualms overcome their spirit and willingness to get past the barriers.”

The list was published in EdTech Digest’s “State of EdTech 2022-2023” edition, which can be viewed here.
