Casey was first elected to the GCISD Board of Trustees in November 2020. He served as Board President in 2022-2023. Casey grew up in the area and attended GCISD schools at O.C. Taylor Elementary, Colleyville Middle School and Grapevine High School. As a student, he participated in the varsity soccer and varsity, State Champion, football programs, and he has been connected and involved in the district ever since.

Casey attended Baylor University where he received dual Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Accounting and one in Real Estate. Additionally, he played and started on the men’s club soccer team. He lives in Colleyville with his wife and three children, two of which currently attend school in GCISD. He is proud and honored to have his children learn their values and morals from the same great community that taught him his.

He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2007 and currently is a Tax Principal, where he focuses on private equity tax planning and structuring from a domestic and international perspective. Previously, he has worked as a Chief Financial Officer for a large real estate development firm and worked at Ernst & Young, LLP. He has worked collaboratively with multiple multi-billion dollar organizations, across multiple industry sectors, to implement and achieve their strategic goals throughout his 17-year career.

Additionally, Casey has served on church boards and finance committees with multi-million dollar operating budgets. Further, he was previously on the board of a not-for-profit organization to help reduce suicide for our armed forces and military as they adjust and transition to civilian life.
